I recently had the pleasure of working with Hubbers for the flooring and soft furnishings in my new home. The team are super knowledgeable and professional, Bridget had great suggestions when it came to colours and products - I get so many compliments on the curtains in particular. I highly recommend Hubbers and can’t wait to work with them again in the future.
Extremely disappointed in this company, was talked into a certain carpet which has not worn at all well,with no children or pets and shoes off at door yet it has worn badly and mattered in areas, when I got the women to come and look she told me to get it cleaned to bring the pile up again,It's not dirty im Extremely fussy it would only flatten again after a few months with cleaning.I am writing this now due to my neighbour just having there carpet replaced due to an issue with the carpet . But hubbers did not want to know about my issue when i got them around to look nor did Bremworth carpet company apparently.As I said disappointed and annoyed as wasn't a cheap carpet I asked for a good quality which I thought Bremworth was and payed for that but now have a cheap looking carpet now!They do not stand by there products.NO the MANUFACTURER did not view the 4.5 year old carpet and I was away for a year of that, my annoyance is after the care it receives all you could say was get it cleaned,than what it flattens and will look mattered again in 2/3 months with 1 person no shoes inside wearing soxs with no animals/ chidren living here, the quality is crap I asked for the best quality you had and relied on your sales women to give me that ! And the Joke being you no longer stock nylon carpets when I got told this was the best thing since sliced bread!And When I see another nelson flooringCompany standing by there products makes me very disappointed with Hubbers as thats why I chose you over Harrisons; there sample after 8 years by the garage door with shoes being wiped on it daily has worn the same as my carpet and mine being double the price!An exspensive mistake putting my trust in your sales people.
A truly appalling experience. After making a 3-hour appointment, travelling 950km from Northland and arriving on time, upon meeting their salesperson we were told "We don't usually deal with people such as yourselves until you have signed a contract with your builder." Well that put us in our place. But we could not sign a build contract without first defining the components.Next, in spite of the fact that we completed extensive research before choosing a proven, good quality European product for the kitchen and entry area and then seen on their website they told us that they would not supply nor install it, [apparently because they had problems with installation the world-wide product] then offered us only very cheap, thin, unsuitable basic products - that we declined. So we moved on to bathroom tiles, but there were very few samples of their "builder range" available for us to view and consider, so we would need to re-visit to achieve anything.Making comparison of products difficult was that the showroom had older light fittings of various colour temperatures, so for accuracy all products needed to be taken out into the sunlight. We did not get as far as choosing any other furnishings. There was no point. It appeared to us we were unwanted customers, a new and surprising experience from a retailer.At that time we gave up, went to another supplier, and received outstanding service and ultimately an outstanding installation of the product we had earlier seen on the Hubber website. We are very happy with our choices - later even a rival product agent provided positive comment on our chosen product [via a Hubber manager email] after our visit, but no email to address the underlying attitude of the staff member toward us, right from our arrival.
Samantha was amazing to work with. She listened to our needs and wants along with sharing her experience and expertise. Queries and follow up questions were answered promptly from other members of the Hubbers team. A very positive experience
We have completed a number of houses and used Hubbers everytime. We love their products and service. Tracey especially was amazing to deal with. Her knowledge and suggestions were great! Thanks team!

The team here was awesome to work with, very friendly, experienced and timely with doing a site visit, issuing a quote and ordering. Really happy with their service and the care they took to make sure we got the right carpets and underlay for our space (especially since it’s our first home and everything was new for us.) A great experience with service and products that are hard to beat!We recently undertook a substantial renovation and Hubbers were excellent throughout. From Samantha helping us with interior design right through to pricing and then the installers on site ensuring we got a high-quality finish, everyone was excellent to deal with and wanted to help us achieve our vision! We are so enjoying our new home with it’s beautiful finishes some of which are from Hubbers. From the luxury vinyl floor plank to our curtains and automatic blinds, our window box seat cushion and other pillows .. our beautiful tufted headboard ..we love the colour, the quality and the lovely feel they all give to our home. Brenda and all the staff that I have seen over the past couple of months have been extremely helpful, very pleasant and show excellent knowledge of the products they are selling. Excellent service. Our colour consult with Samantha when we built with Milestone was super quick and easy. She helped us make the right decision. We also got a full house lot of Soft Furnishings which was also a smooth process, the team were very knowledgable with choosing the right fabrics. We are extremely happy!! I had a fantastic experience when choosing the exterior materials and colours, interior colours and floorings with Hubbards. The colour consultant listened to my ideas and gave professional but also innovative advice. I went to Hubbards many times to consider and sometimes alter a few of my choices, and all staff were friendly and helpful each visit.
We had the pleasure of dealing with Dino for our flooring and Brenda for our soft furnishings recently for our new home and couldn't fault their service and passion. At the start of our build planing stage, we had to make a lot of changes but both Dino and Brenda were very accommodating and nothing was ever a problem.
